It is not simply a tour; it includes teaching compared to none. You won't be just a tourist; you will be a student of the Reformation. It is guided and led by those that have been there many times -- and they know what it means to our reformed faith. You will never read Luther or Calvin the same way!
During the tour, visit the most important cities of the Reformation -- starting inWittenberg (the site of Martin Luther's famous Ninety-Five Theses) and ending in Geneva (the home of John Calvin's ministry). Stops along the way include Erfurt, Eisenach, Worms, and Zurich. What better way to learn about the Reformation than in the very locations that were central to this major historical event.
You will be joined by world-class, pastor-theologians Dr. Philip Ryken and Dr. Steve Nichols. They will teach the historical significance of the Reformation and theological debates present at the time. You will receive post-graduate level teaching every evening and will have them alongside as you visit each venue. You'll also be led by veteran traveler and Reformation historian Thomas Martin. Tom has carefully crafted your itinerary to maximize the experience while still allowing some individual freedom. The tour includes all transportation and accommodations listed, breakfast each morning, and several group dinners.
